CASE STUDIES
We have achieved very good improvements in rankings for a number of law firms, as can be seen in the 3 case studies (for clients i) Brooks and Partners, ii) Reyholds Parry Jones and iii) Toller Beattie) we present here.
CASE 1 : BROOKS AND PARTNERS
Brooks and Partners (www.brooks-partners.co.uk) is a firm of solicitors based in Frimley, Surrey offering general legal services to the local community including Residential Conveyancing, Matrimonial, Wills, Probate & Trust and general Commercial and Commercial Property work.
Frimley itself, although a sizeable town, does not constitute the entire local market which the firm targets. That market includes the nearby towns of Aldershot, Camberley and Farnborough.
Before
Before our work commenced the website was ranking reasonably well for core web search phrases including the word ’Frimley’ although for two highly important phrases (“company solicitors” and “conveyancing solicitors”) the rankings were positions 16 and 11 on Google and therefore Brooks & Partners would not appear on page 1 of search results on most browser’s screens. The firm did not achieve rankings within the first 20 results of any of the search phrases including the words Aldershot, Camberley or Farnborough.
Our remit was to improve their rankings for the search phrases shown in the above illustration in respect of Frimley, and also to achieve Top Twenty rankings for searches phrases including the names of the three other target towns.

CASE 2 : REYNOLDS PARRY JONES
Reynolds Parry Jones Solicitors (www.rpj.uk.com) is located in High Wycombe, Bucks and provides general legal advice to private individuals as well as commercial legal advice for corporate and business clients based.
Before
This client’s website was ranking at position 39 on Google for ‘family solicitors High Wycombe’ and at position 49 for ‘private client solicitors High Wycombe’, just to mention two search results, before the start of our assignment, where there was obviously room for improvement (see the report below).Click here to view the original report (in PDF format).
After
One month after we started our contract the website started to achieve much better rankings, on Google and also on the two other leading search engines MSN and Yahoo! In fact, #1 positions were achieved for the two examples above and eight others on Google. Similar successes could be observed on MSN and Yahoo!

CASE 3 : TOLLER BEATTIE
Toller Beattie www.tollerbeattie.co.uk is located in Barnstaple, North Devon and provides general legal services to both individual and business clients in Barnstaple and throughout north Devon.
Consequently the firm desires to present itself as a potential supplier of legal services throughout the area. This means, in terms of website optimisation, that search phrases incorporating the words “north devon” should achieve high rankings, as well as those containing the word “ Barnstaple”
Before
As can be seen from the initial report shown below reasonably good rankings were achieved on Google.co.uk when “Barnstaple” was included in the search phrase but very poor results were achieved when the words “north devon” were substituted.
